Ho Chi Minh City adds energy, dining and nightlife to a Vietnam itinerary. It is best treated as a separate two- or three-night extension rather than squeezed into a Central Vietnam week.
How I would structure it
- Arrive and settle into the city.
- Play one or two nearby courses.
- Leave time for food, markets and city experiences.
- Fly onward rather than adding long road transfers.
Who it suits
It works particularly well for groups who want more than resort golf and enjoy a faster-paced city finish.
